- Requests are sent as the Subject of standard BBS (P) message addressed to
- BBSERV@W1NPR and the available commands are:
- *** Substitute dbname with the database name wanted ! ***
- (Subject line command) (Operation from server)
- (D) dbname Filename.ext Returns the requested file as a message
- (D) dbname INDEX Returns an index list of the Directory
- (D) SRV INDEX Returns the index of text about server
- (W) Returns databases available & some help
- (W) dbname (wildcard) Will list requested files in the directory
- (W) dbname If file is over 3k will send index if available
- (I) Returns this text file edited by sysop
- (INPUT) Send messages regarding the server with this Subject
- FIND {Search string} Will search all indexes for this info. & reply
- INDEX {Search string} Same as above
- (U) dbname Filename.ext Places your file in this dbname\upl section
- (U) dbname Places your message as a file in the dbname
- specified (Must be Public) as Yourcall.txt
- (Replaces previous file if existing)
- (N) REGISTER dbname Register for new updates to be sent periodicaly
- by "OWNER" of this directory
- (ADDRESS) Callsign Returns the hierachial address of Callsign
- (DU) Returns up to the first 500 users on file.
- (DU) Callsign Returns this users registration data.
- BATCH or blank subject line will cause BBserv to look in the message
- text for a list of any combination of up to 25 file requests

- Data searches : Any legal DOS wildcard search may be done in conjunction
- with the W dbname commands above. As in W MODS TS430*.* or W MODS ??430.*
